lost a good opportunity to ride to Chicago last weekend.  had to take my son with me.....  i didn't think it was too cold but i'm sure that he wouldn't have liked it after the first twenty minutes!!  oh well.....  look on the bright side, only 5 more months!!

Tomrrow is supposed to be in the 60s, so I'm going to put some Stabil in the full tank and take a ride... May be up for a while... This is New England. Grin

Yeah,

I see the door closing  fast on any more riding this season.

I've missed a few opportunities to ride lately when our temps in Wisconsin were in the 50's several times over the past 2 weeks - too busy -but I'm sure I will regret it during the next 4+ months...
time for the dreaded "winterization" process we northerners are familiar with... I wish I could just bring the bike in the house like ChrisJ does... but that ain't an option here.

time for  PMS  (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) to rear its ugly head for some of us....

Some day when I have the money, I'm going to keep a Valk parked down south by Jimmy and fly down there and ride it from time to time....I can dream, can't I??  Evil

It is supposed to snow here tomorrow as well.  I decided to put the valk to sleep.  I have some work to do to her this winter to get her ready for our trip to the Caribbean in March.  We cannot wait.  We have had this trip planned for over a year and in 4 months we will be riding our valk in the warm breezes of the caribbean.

Hopefully, someday I'll be able to afford an enclosed trailer to hole-up down in Texas or someplace warm for a couple months during the winter and extend my riding season. Always wanted to check out that Big Bend Nat'l Park.

It was 6 deg here this morning with 2 inches of fresh snow but in the low 50's by Turkey day so there's still hope for a few more days of riding !!
