Would like to add a vent to my OEM Standard WS. Is any one vent a better fit or overall choice then another? All I can find are replacement vents for other WS, is there a better source?

Rethink it because I have a clearview vent in mine (replaced original with clearview plastic) and I can not tell a difference when it is open or closed. Might be a waste of money and time.

Put your hand behind the vent when it is open, you will feel air movement, it basically equalizes pressure, and reduces buffeting. I have the same set up. Hoser

I put a new Tulsa WS with a vent on a GW. Seems to me the vents sold were new Honda vents. I liked the combination opening the vent made a big difference. Heavy rains would leak some water but not a problem it's pouring rain anyways.

Have to agree. I put one in my other bike I sold and really couldn't tell much either. David

IF you do add a vent, put a piece of screen in it to stop bugs, hot pieces of tar and etc from coming through it.
Following my buddy in Canada several years ago, I had my vent open, on my GW, and he hit a fresh asphalt repair and a little piece came through and stuck on my upper lip. Left a real good scar, and hurt like hell at the time. I had to swat the piece off of my lip. She no bleed, as it was cauterized on the spot.
Other than that, it worked great.

I've heard that it slices the bugs up better to make them more digestible.
