I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.   2funny Cheesy

I've pissed a lot of people off in my 79 years, those since I retired were unintentional.     I've even been accused of doing it on purpose.

I guess it is because I was taught to tell or say the truth and or what I thought, instead of soft soaping it.

I had to kiss too many ass*s when I was working.      A lot of them needed an ass whompin instead of a slap on the back,  so to speak.

However, I must have won a lot of people over since so many showed up for my retirement party, several drove 185 miles, several also drove 570, and 19 drove 690 miles.

You bet RJ.... in our youth we have to please people and be diplomats (if we're smart).

In our maturity, we just tell the unvarnished truth and say what we think.

However, some people we still need to be careful with.

If the wife asks if 'these pants make by butt look big'...... truth is not your friend, do not reply 'nope, it's not the pants, it's your great big butt that makes your butt look big.'   2funny

I try not to piss people off but at my age I also try to speak the truth as I see it.  Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and have people think that you're an idiot that open your mouth and remove all doubt.
