My fat-girl is back from the shop after having her rear plastic and chrome parts fixed.  For those of you that don't know, I had a little mishap on the way to IZXI this year up in Cheyenne WY.  I was rear ended by a Valk but both bikes were mechanically sound.  So guess what, we rode them 3200 miles to IZXI and back home.  Thank God noone was hurt either.

I had to paint most of the "tins" so I decided to do something a little "different".  Scott hooked my up with a guy that had custom painted his IS.  He sent me some pictures and I really liked it.  I used the same color that he did, but changed up the stripes a bit.
Thanks Scott!

Here is my bike with the Mustang racing stripes.  I really like it and I hope you do too.
First, my favorite pic.

Then on to the others.

This is what the stable looks like now...they barely fit...   coolsmiley

You gonna put new reflectors in the bags?

These LEDs (red) can be made to fit the spot in the bags, and if grounded to the correct place will flash with the turn signals.  (if you feel like a wiring project) http://www.hondadirectlineofshadyside.com/stores/product.asp?pid=1155&str=2&ID=1015090008

If Honda had painted Valkyries like that you'd see a lot more of them around today. That is an exciting color combination with the stripes. cooldude

Thanks everyone.  It was a hard decision to stray away from the factory color schemes, but now that it is what it is, I really like it.

Jess - haven't decided about the reflectors yet.  They are in the trunk awaiting my decision

Bama - Blue is up near the top of my favorites.  I like white trucks tho.

Hedgehog - I believe it will make it that far.

Cajun - I like the 45's too, but need to cut them off a little bit as they keep scraping.

Quicksilver - I don't know of a production bike with this color.

Joe - but now we don't have matching bikes anymore.

98 - she turned enough heads before, but I agree.

Rtaz - we will!!!  Next July at IZXII. Who's bike was that. Its similar, but not exactly.

That's really beautiful, Jimmy, and given the condition of your garage, I'd be willing to give that beautiful blue stripey machine a great home up here in Massachusetts for the winter just to ease your crowding. Uh Oh, the trike heard me, and she gets very jealous, never mind... Hope I get to see it in person one of these days!
