Since I put my I/S back together, I hear a squeaking noise while riding.  Sounds like it coming from the center to rear of the bike. I only hear it while moving and going over a dip or bump.  If Im just cruising there isnt any noise.  Only over bumps.  If Im stopped and bounce the suspension, I dont hear a thing.  I had my buddy who is 260 bounce the rear while sitting and didnt hear anything.  I did the complete rear end service while I had the back end apart as well as new wheel dampers.  Not my first time doing this but I know Im not perfect either.  Should I check the brakes?  Loosen up the rear and retighten?  Aside from that the bike runs perfect.  Had it to 120 mph today and it was smooth.

Have you had the swing arm loose.

I over tightened one once and it squeaked.

Wheel bearings or brake caliper. Remove the wheel, check the bearings and clean out the brake caliper. Clean the brake rotor with brake cleaner while you're at it. If that don't work, bounce up and down to see if it's a shock.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

You can get a water pistol and ride.

Squirting water on different parts and areas will help to find the source of the noise if you have success in stopping the sound with a squirt or two.

The water will do no harm and it's an easy thing to do.

If you suspect the brakes.......lightly allpy brake pressure when you gover a bumpy patch that should make the bike make the noise......see if you can at least make the noise change if not stop with braking pressure.....if brakes makes no difference....others have had the dust ring not installed tightly and it was rubbing on the wheel
