The weather forecanters f'ed up again. They promised a cloudy day with temps in the low 60's. The sun rose on wet roads and low water filled clouds.

I was pleasantly surprised to find 8 bikes at the meting place willing to go on a wild goose chase around parts of N. Georgia. http://www.meetup.com/TwoWheels/

Went to check out the http://www.wildcatsuches.com in the hope of finding a bike friendly eatery with food as good as T.W.O.'s was. So far it's the best of the newly opened places north of Dahlonega. The others SUCK.

One of the riders brain farted and dug her BMW1200C into a bank of Georgia clay. No harm to bike or rider but the Beemer had a nice ruddy orange right cylinder head for the rest of the ride.

That's my ST1300 in the foreground.

Ater lunch we rode up into the fog  Shocked and had an uneventful ride home. 200 miles and didn't go very far north. Lotsa goat trails.  Evil

Good experience today on slick roads using throttle control and engine braking so as to minimize actual braking.

Looks like a fun time. Riding in heavy fog can be creepy at times. Loved the pictures, especially the ones "behind". Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting Britman.  Looks like the BRP 2 years ago on our way to IZX. Couldn't see 100 yards in front of us.
I will ride the BRP again in the light so I can see off in the distance.
