We had a fine CenTex turnout this morning and the weather held up pretty well for some good riding and visiting. Our meeting point was the Blanco town square. As I rode up I saw Laser Pat, TxDeb and an unfamiliar face...

That face belonged to Piper (
who allegedly plays the bagpipes)! He's just back home to Texas from Colorado and he's got a pretty neat hood ornament on his Valk...

After a bit Bullgoose rode up...

And then Old Geezer...

A quorum was achieved, so we moseyed on over to the Chess Club Cafe for a fine breakfast...

Afterwords we took a leisurely ride out to the Albert Dance Hall...

A very scenic ride to a very scenic place. A few of us enjoyed a locally brewed pale ale from the Rio Blanco Brewing Company. It's very peaceful in Albert. That peace is only disturbed by an occasional passing automobile or unbaffled Harley.
We were able to visit and relax for a bit on the porch, L-R: Bullgoose, Laser Pat, TxDeb, Old Geezer and Piper....

After awhile we decided to part ways, but not before a group photo with our Valkyries...
L-R: Piper, Laser Pat, TxDeb, Bullgoose, Old Geezer and yours trulyRight after the last photo was taken a gust of wind blew my camera and tripod over breaking the lens! No worries, found a factory refurbished lens on the web for about half price and the camera seems OK.
Anyway, fun day! Got to visit with some great friends and to finally meet Piper! Oh, and had the distinct pleasure of another fine day riding the Valkyrie!
