your buddies and play it and everyone (the other players) hear it?

That base is an acoustic.....it doesn't have any pickups (it's not electric).

Oh yeah! The 6 string has the same setup.
Actually, I'm just Jeeping up to Or. from Az. for a few weeks and probably scout up a few gigs while I'm there. (sorta like a paid vacation).  Cool

My bad.  I didn't see any pickups and assumed it was an acoustic base.   Embarrassed
