I am sure that will leave a mark.  One guy was pretty close to the rotors.  Pretty scary.

20/20 hindsight is priceless but who would have thought it was a good idea to drop the helicopter into such a confined area?

Cables and rotor blades never get along.  That was a miracle the no one was killed.

Looks like something, a cable or rope, came in from above the rotor.

Well.....if you're gonna crash, it's better to do it close to the ground I guess.

Having flown into, out of and through many confined areas, I can assure you that hind-sight is much better.  I've been lucky.  There is an old saying that is applicable to this:  There are old pilots and there are bold pilots, there are very few Old Bold Pilots.

I've clipped trees, taken down a few wires, hit a few birds and even had my rotor system shot by one of my own passengers.  I've had eight engine failures during my time as a R/W Test Pilot, I can assure you, there ain't nothing like a safe landing.  cooldude

I've actually heard that's quite common. I don't know how true it is but I'd believe it.

I would imagine with a squad of Grunts, locked & loaded, anything can happen.

Better video. It shows exactly what happened. A guy on the ground grabbed the cable and tugged it it the blades. Starts around .33
