Does Pinwall go out and buy perfectly good Valkyries just to chop up and sell the parts?

Say it ain't so...........  Cry

I THINK that they are a "salvage" yard!

Last I heard, theyy are the major buyer of Allstate insured accident bikes.

NO, they do not buy up good bikes and chop them so to speak.

They are your typical SALVAGE yard.

Some of them may be very close to perfect.  I have seen insurance companies total a bike for falling over in a driveway. Happened a couple of miles from my shop.  Harley fell over in drive cracked the chrome side cover on engine, it was leaking oil will adjuster got there.  They totaled it.  Check out some of the totaled bikes on Coparts auction site. Those are insurance total and this is how they get rid of them.

I don't think I've ever seen a 'rear fender, rear section' on pinwall. Lots of 'front sections' though...
I've been looking for a tail light assembly for my IS, only seen 2.

You can't prove they're cutting up good bikes by me.

I just bought a spare throttle cable to have around from them off ebay.  The housing is smashed flat about 4 in. midway down and half of the plastic outer covering is burned off.  They failed to mention any of that in their ebay description.

This bike definatly was a crash and burn.

Actually, they do stand behind their product.  If you are not satisfied, let them know, and they will swap parts for you.

I didn't make a big deal out of it.  I may still contact them.  I figured that I learned my lesson.

You can dood! You have to set it up to filter out certain sellers. I forget how but it's not that hard.

I have purchased some parts from them, got a decent deal..But I know you have to be real careful, they sell a lot of slightly to badly damaged parts..been more than once I was ready to bid, then did a more thorough look see...

NOTE:  Many of their prices are due to the likes of US bidding on the parts..and gettin carried away..
