SINCE OUR "FAT GIRLS" HAVE ALOT IN COMMON WITH GOLDWINGS, WILL THE ADJUSTABLE LEVERS FROM A 'WING FIT THE VALKS?

The short answer is yes. There is a single cut that you have to make on one of them though. I took a quick look through shop talk but didn't see it there. Someone will come along that knows the details.

There's a tab that needs to be cut off of the clutch lever; see

http://forums.delphiforums.com/valkyrie/messages?msg=13360.1

I also found that my brake light would stay on unless I pushed the lever with a finger. A member (can't remember who, but am eternally grateful) told me to grind off a bit on the bottom of the brake lever because it pinches. Look on the bottom of the brake lever, you'll see a raised circle of metal, about 2mm high. I ground this off and the lever works perfectly.

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES. I'M 45 AND GETTING SOME ARTHRITIS IN SOME HANDS THAT HAVE BEEN BROKE UP AND HAVE MORE MILES THAN YEARS. THERE IS A SET OF LEVERS IN J&P CATALOG THAT MAY BE COMING TO MY HOUSE. I HAD TO GET THE WIDE LEVERS FOR MY 07 SHADOW SPIRIT AS THE ORIGINAL ONES FELT LIKE THEY WERE SEPERATING MY FINGER JOINTS HOLDING THE CLUTCH AT STOPLIGHTS. OK, I'M A WIMP HAHA

Nowhere does it say, you cannot put the bike in neutral, while at a stoplight.

Agreed!! I've had more than 1 quick escape that would have been impossible if the bike were in neutral.
