Dublin, Texas

« on: November 28, 2011, 01:18:25 PM »

Yesterday Sunday after Thanksgiving I needed to get some wind. Windy is what I got. In the days leading up to this I noticed the the vivid colors and decided to put on a SD card.

All these pictures where taken within 5 miles from Dublin,TX where I live.

Pulling out of the driveway.

The next three are within 500 yards of the house. Please keep in mind that the pictures don't do the colors any justice at all. I leave that for the pro's!

On into Dublin out thru traffic to the South side

Once past our own Tunnel of Tree's further into the country.

Remarkable green with the lack of rain. Still trying to grow!

Texas also has Happy Cows!

Fork in the road, which way do I go? I am only 5 miles from home  Shocked

I was riding my Valkyrie GL1500Adventure this afternoon and most of it was on gravel roads. Evil
The next pictures are a few random shot's.

After exploring the area south of town now it's time to go exploring north of Dublin and south of Stephenville. Carefully the whole time to not get further than 5 miles out.

Almost home! Finally! I did manage to spend/waste 2 hours and ride about 60 miles. Had a great time!

Thanks for riding along!

Very nice! You also don't hafta mail order or make a special trip to get the good Dr. Pepper, definitely another bonus!

All that, in only sixty miles, I have to travel 60 miles to get into anything scenic. You certainly do live in the best part of Texas.

Hard to argue with you on this subject.  Considering I also have to ride 60 miles to get out of this metromess.

TJ is the definition of "living large".  Or at least "living tall" along with Serk.
