Amazing fearlessness. When you consider most of these racers have probably already seen the inside of an ambulance a time or two, it's even more impressive. Harder to be brave when you've experienced the consequences of failure.
I think they were all using car tires though. The centrifugal forces at that speed make even GTT's "round out".

Those guys have got to have balls the size of basketballs to have the courage to do this. Not just racing motorcycles (Lord know I have spent my share of time at 120+ MPH on a motorcycle), but to race in the confines of the towns, the rock walls, the off-camber corners with a dip in the middle of them, etc. takes REAL COURAGE! Even when I used to ride fast in my younger and braver (dumber) years, I would have been way too chicken to even be a "water boy" for one of these guys.

They have a day off from racing on the Sunday and anyone can go round the track on their bikes, no speed limits!! It's called Mad Sunday!!
