Hi All Got to see the first of our newest generation of currency. No more paper but a type of plastic.Feels like silk. Read that they are much harder to copy and will last much longer too. Many security features and you can actually see thru them. Great job from the Bank of Canada. Other  dollar amounts to follow.I just love the different colours they use.

Just shows ya that its been too long since I've been up to visit the family. Last I remember an  aunt and uncle in london, aunt and uncle in Kerwood, aunt and uncle in Komoka, and cousins in Gads hill.
Good memories of lots of fun....Thanks Chrome!!

Hey Pup  I live right in the middle of those places.  In college, dated a girl from Kerwood, have my Double, Doubles in Komoka at the Little Beaver, live in London and have ridden thru Gads Hill.  Small world.  Let me know if you are ever planning on visiting your kin up here.

PS Cruzen  What I have seen on cashing my bills in the States, good luck getting money from them. Not any places up here that don't take American money but doesn;t work the other way.  Too bad. From another post today about not being able to make change, can you imagine if exchange rates were thrown in as well?

Hl All  A couple of generations of our currency.Always had great colours. Oldest being the 1937 Fifty. A customer paid me with that a couple of years ago.  Also have a great collection of bills used just for "BullShit Poker".  Bought me a ton of coffees over the years.
