Thomas G. "Tommy" Wells Jr.
WWII - USMC
Walker, LA, Tuesday, 11/29/2011

"Tommy" Wells, 85, WWII USMC veteran and two-time Purple Heart recipient, passed away 11/25/11, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
"Tommy" was most recently honored as the Grand Marshal of the Livingston Parish Veterans Day Ceremonies.
His family has specifically requested PGR participation at his services on Tuesday morning at Walker Baptist Church.

We had just honored this man as our Grand Marshal at a local Veterans day parade.  Mr. Wells decribed the experence as "the most proud day of my life," to his friends and family.

One of the PGR riders attending today was Lee, known to many on this site as "Beekeeper."  He said that he didn't go online much anymore, but knew most of the "old timers" that post on this board.

Thank you Tommy.
PGR is the best reason to ride. Also the best reason to have a full-face with a dark shield.
Its really odd to get thanked by family for being there. They gave all. I'm just there holding a flag.
 I have one Saturday.
