You never know when you say the wrong thing. My friend of 28-30 years passed last Tue. We had a running joke of not having any more BIRTHDAYS. I sent him a like wish only to learn that he had passed on his birthday, 29th, He did not let anyone kinow of his  problems and his passing was a shock to all. I wish I could have wished him one more Happy Brithday.  Cry He was a very good Tech. in our Nissan Store. I would not let anyone work on my wife`s car but him and he would give you his last dollar if you needed it. RIP, my friend.  angel

So sorry. I have a friend of roughly the same duration.
I'd hate to lose him even though we rarely speak. Lotsa email and such though.

Maybe someday you can pick-up birthday wishes where you left off.

Can you imagine wishing someone happy 10 millionth birthday.

Yes, I know what you mean. I have a couple old high school buddies living in California and would love to spend some time with them again. We also share emails and phone calls regularly, but it's not the same as in person. That's actually one of my "bucket list" items....ridng the Valk out there to see them both one more time. Trouble is, we're not getting any younger...all three of us well into our 70's. Guess I need to think seriously about doing it in the next couple years. Of course my wife thinks I'm nuts, she's probably right.  Wink
