I was just browsing ebay and noticed a number of postings for carb sets that had different sizes listed, ranging from 29mm to 31mm. What's that all about, I thought they were all pretty much the same size. The associated listing ranged from '98 to 2000 model year. Just curious, anybody have any input on that?

tech manual states all carbs, all yrs, all models use the same size carbs. 28mm (1.1 in)
the stock carbs are correctly sized per intake valve size and the intended use of the bike. racing all of the time larger carbs would help.
maybe they can't measure just like, Only 55% of Americans know that the sun is a star.  Cry

97's had VPKOA's and later has VPKOJ carbs.  Venturi size is the same.  No help here, just looking at the manual for answers.
