I have a Tru-Tel chrome oil tem/dip stick on my 97 standard.  Will the Chrome Transmission covers fit with this type of dip stick?

TIA

If it's the 1.75 it will.  I don't believe the 2 inch will fit.

Well I have the tranny covers on both ISs, and one of each size Tel-True temp gauges on them.  The bigger one fits fine, but the outer edge just does touch the cover, so I put a sliver of electrical tape on the cover to sorta protect it, but it is rubbed (cannot really be seen with the gauge mounted).  This is why I got the smaller one for the other bike, BUT my old eyes don't see the smaller gauge as well as the bigger one.  So, I put a small sliver of electrical tape (cut like an arrow) on the face of each gauge at 220*, so even though I can't read the numbers very well, I can easily see I'm under the danger/watch-out zone 99% of the time.
