I am now naming names on on the classifieds for bad advertising Gary Malone was advertising a BBP hitch on the classifieds and we bought it the hitch and it is not a BBP hitch and the three pieces of the hitch as you that know the hitch they will not even bolt together where you put the three bolts in each side. This is a homemade hitch that we paid like 275.00 dollars. We called Gary Malone and talked with him about and he said that he bought the hitch of ebay and never even opened the box. The box has BBP Valk and H.D.L. on it meaning to us that someone bought the real thing then passed off a homemade version of the hitch to Gary through E-bay and when he got it he didn't even open the box. That my friends is B.S. We talked to him and he could not comprehend any thing that we were talking about when it came to the hitch and could not get it across to him (acting stupid). He even thinks that we are trying to modify the hitch to fit. All we wanted is to get a hitch a BBP one and not homemade one. This really sucks and he says that he has no use for it and will not give a refund (Dick Head). My beef is that this person is on the VRCC taking honest peoples money for crap that is not what he advertising. Please do not buy anything from this person you will be sorry. Name : Gary Malone Address 926 Barbee Rd Jefferson City, Tn 37760 865-475-2611 e-mail: r-rebel2@hotmail.com This person has a ad on the classifieds now for a Receiver hitch Carryall. I would not purchase from this peron If there is any problem with me posting like this a am sorry for those of you that know this person I hope iI do not offend you

That's just BS. A damn shame that this sort of thing happens. If it was an honest mistake, he should take his lumps and offer a refund.
Perhaps there could be a way to blackball unscrupulous sellers on our classifieds. Unfortunately, it's caveat emptor.
(I'm listening to a US Fidelus ad on TV and the Indyanner Atty General currently has them under investigation for fraudulent business practices. Nobody's safe from this sort of false advertising.)

Why not add a 3rd section to the new board for classifieds. Then if someone pulls this they can be removed from being able to post to the classifieds.

Thanks for posting, we all need to be aware of this. As a side note, I am sorry to find out that this guy is a fellow Tennessean (looks as though he is now listing the location as - USA).

RedTim, I have no problem with you posting your dissatisfaction with a seller on the classifieds site but I don't see the reason for name calling. We know how you feel. I've had a bad deal with a sell on the internet myself and I don't think I would do business with the guy again. However, name calling is over the top.

I would take it up with EBay. Item not as described. On another note the fabrication of that P O S looks like someone just learning how to use a torch and a stick welder?? YIKES

Thanks for the heads up on this scum bag. I do not think name calling is "over the top" in this situation. You expressed your opinion. Some may accept it, others may not. It's a choice. The man lied and was not responsible for his actions. That is wrong, period.

My friend bought the hitch and I am the angry one because I will have to try to fix the problem and try to mount the hitch need the right lengeth bolts and the receiver section is not wide enough either looks like a chop cut and rebuild to get this to fit. I dont think that the hitch will look worth a damn after it's been modified to fit.

Boy, that's a real poor copy of a BBP hitch. You can see that the holes will not match up between the two parts shown. Thanks for the heads up on this scumbag.

You are correct they will not line up or even get close. We have decided to buy bolts, cut the correct spacers, then either heat and adjust and or shim the hitch to center because the center is not wide enough either, then when straight clamp it all together then mig weld it all up then take a grinder and cut away some of the unneeded metal the parts are a little oversized then get the whole shooting match powered coated that may fix it.
