I brought it home from dad's in January when I was in last. Since then I had a friend start it in mid march and let her warm up to idle. He went back a couple weeks ago to start her and the battery was dead...looks like I will be buying a new battery when I get home too.
When I left near the end of January I filled her up and put a can of Sea Foam in her and let her run for a while till I was sure it got down in her system.
Between that time and my buddy dropping by the house and running her for me she should not have any problems gumming up...knock on wood.
Total time setting and not running any has not exceeded about 8 weeks.
