IMHO these people are living up to their name. I ordered two pair of riding jeans which were on sale and Bikebandit said in their description of the jeans that they run smaller than regular sizes. So I ordered the next larger waste size and pant length than I normally buy in jeans just as any normal thinking person would do. You guessed it! They were way too long and Bikebandit refuses to exchange jeans to my proper size even though they implied that anyone should order a larger size than normal in their description of the jeans. I offered to pay shipping both ways. The lady answering the phone understood, but she could not even get her supervisor to speak to me on the phone. She said that the jeans were on sale and they would not exchange them and then had the gall to ask if I wanted to place an order for another size of the same jeans. Another call later in the day yielded the same results. It is not really about the money. I will buy some more riding jeans somewhere else and not miss the money. As Obama said, "I need a change" and I don't agree with him about his kind of change either. Neither me or any of my sons will ever buy another thing from Bikebandit. They do not handle anything that we cannot buy somewhere else. You guys do what you want! This is just my experience with a company who cares nothing at all about their clientele...JTL

They send me adds all the time, I look and end up buying elsewhere because they are not the best price. HDL beats them everytime. Have you looked at Diomand gussett jeans? THey are great. I think Dan Meyer suggested these some time ago? What size maybe post them and you may get someone interested in them?

They are great. A little more than say K-Mart or Wally world but worth every penny. The only problem I have with them is they loose there blue color way before they ever ware out. Plus they are great people to deal with IMHO........

I realize that what ever I say or do will not have any effect at all on the profitability of Bikebandit. I did not intend to. All I wanted to do was to relay to the members here what kind of treatment I have received and let everyone trade where they will. It makes no difference to me. However, the treatment that I received today was the same as someone telling me, "I have already got your money and you can go to hell as far as we are concerned"...JTL

I own several pairs of the Diamond Gusset jeans, including one of their "Defender" biker jeans. The regular jeans of theirs wore out too fast for me. My Carhartt jeans lasted longer. I started buying Duluth Trading jeans. So far, they are out wearing the DG ones by over twice.

I've never had a problem with http://www.newenough.com/You always need to read an online merchants return policy before placing an order.

As this seems to regard Diamond Gusset jeans ....... I bought a pair of their defenders 2 years ago straight from them and they were great to deal with... I phoned and talked to the fellow and gave him my measurements - "super phat azz" as opposed to "off the rack" and they had them in 1 inch increments and shipped them right out...
Last year when I crashed the EMD's cut them off me and saved my chaps..... I was trying to talk them into sliding the jeans off but they wouldn't negotiate, the EMD thanked me later in the hospital as he had nevver cut an expensive pair of jeans before.

PharmBoy.... Sorry buddy! I remember you telling me on the phone that you were ordering some riding jeans for you and your wife. You said you were getting a good deal...... well... so much for a "deal" you got screwed! I feel for you... It's no fun getting the "go around" and then to have the balls to ask you if you want to place another order?? No Way!! That is crazy.... I have a pair of Draggin jeans made by Fast Company. I have had them for about two years now and love them. I wear them every time I go for a ride.... I can get you a pair up here at motorcyclecloseouts.com if you want and bring them down to you!! Just need your size.. Hope everything else is going well for you.... Stude..

Here is another vote for Draggin Jeans. Very well made and long lasting. But I should have gone one size bigger in the waist.

I have to wholly agree with you... OK, one of the rare few times. Their response was completely wrong. I am real sensitive to things like this because for the most part in Asia, real customer service is completely unknown. "I sell you bad product? Oh, OK, F*ck off, please. I didn't know. I don't want to know. Go away. F*ck off, please."

Hey Jim I hate to hear stories like that, however you where right on point when you mentioned that once they get your money, they don't give a damn about customer service. I have this ongoing fantasy that someday time travel will be possible....I think I know you well enough that you, just like me would gladly give $1,000 cash to have the opportunity to zap back in time 300 years and deal with thieves the way they SHOULD be dealt with!
Once again I am joking......sort of...............
Have a good day

I think that the heads-up on Bikebandit is a great idea. It should make everyone think twice when doing business with them.
PharmBoy - Any chance that you used a credit card? Calling the credit card company and requesting a chargeback will freeze the transaction and push Bikebandit into negotiating or issuing a refund. It's hardball but they aren't giving you much choice.
Sorry to hear about your experience.
