I know some of you believe in the power of prayer so any would be appreciated.

My dad was taken to the hospital sunday and has been in cardiac ICU for a second day now

What we know is he can't move his legs or his right arm,
he has Pneumonia, a staph infection on top of his normal diabetes problems and leg ulcers
and is not eating, but we can get him to sip a little at a time.

He never complains, a real depression era kid.  He wrote the book on how to
audition a secretary, well not really  Wink

So any prayers you can send Barnett (Barry) Rogers would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

Pic is back when dad retired 12 years ago  He just turned 82 last wednesday

He doesn't look old enough to be your Dad......more like an older Brother!!...... cooldude.....

Oss, prayers from Iowa are being sent.

I hope you don't mind, but I added your dad's name to the Prayer List at Church.

So he should be covered very well with prayers and thoughts.

We have about 80 or 90 ladies who say prayers for everyone on the list everyday.

Praying that he gets a whole lot better and is able to be home, no later than January 1, 2012.

Take care Friend, just don't get yourself down.

Thinking of you, mom and Bonnie.    We love ya'll.

All our Prayers and well wishes from ND to your Dad, Oss.  Lost mine several years ago, still a big hole in my life.  May you continue to have yours for years to come.

I know he's a good guy, because of the quality of his son!

I want to add something to my earlier prayers offered up for your Dad, and the family.

After reading your post about your Mom taking charge at the hospital, I also send prayers for the Nurses to get their stuff together, because if your Mom is like mine when my Dad was in the hospital, the nurses will need all the help they can get! laugh Glad to hear your Dad is making progress!
