Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

They have these things called grocery stores now-a-days.  I think I'd move closer to one if I was them.

That was "cool" (ha - get it?!).  Whenever I see something like that, I think "you know, they had to get a camera down there somehow."  I'd love to see the release form a cameraman working for some of these nature shows has to sign.  Better pay pretty good, too.

I wonder what else they find down there. I thought I saw a crab early in the footage. It'd be scary as all get out, but it'd be a pretty cool place to see.

No thanks,

As tempting as it sounds, I'll just call out for pizza tonight.

a.) That's good eatin'
b.) NFW would I go under there.

I've read several books about the North Atlantic expeditions, mostly the Franklin expedition. I have something of a fascination with that part of the globe but I don't think I'd actually like being there too much.

I do remember that the Inuit kids we occasionally played hockey against were always kinda scary.

If anyone's interested in a great piece of historical fiction "The Terror" by Dan Simmons is mesmerizing.

Quite a few years ago it was revealed that some of the "amazing" wildlife shots on the BBC nature programs were created in the studio. Possibly the closeups of the guy harvesting the molluscs were???
