Seems the Great Uniter is dividing this country even more than Dubya ever could.  People are pissed.....and it don't seem to be getting any better.  This guy seems to get it.

Although I didn't vote for Dubya the first time, I do admit to voting for him the second time around.  Perry.....no clue how he got to be gov of Texas.  I'm still a fan of Texas gov Ann Richards.  She was a grand ol dame and had class...even if she was a democrat.

But it seems that most Obama voters are simply infatuated with the cult of personality and are just......

I've noticed this too.... on multiple channels/programs.

Most all news people from top to bottom, and their talking heads, will vote for ZERO..... so don't be surprised to see CNN, et. al. touting Romney as the only logical Republican choice.  They know ZERO may not get reelected, so they want the least conservative, vanilla Republican they can get if they lose. As usual, they want to influence public opinion instead of report the news.  The nomination process officially just starts now with a year to go, and it should be allowed to take its natural course without the likely smear-of-the-month dominating the news for the next year, or any other press influence.

I believe we can get a better candidate than Romney (but our candidate must win, and if we have to end up with Romney to beat ZERO then so be it) (but boy I hope not).

Now to the commercial.   crazy2

You know what's funny? I voted for Bush the first time and not the second time. As historically disastrous as Bush was, Given all that's transpired with Al Gore since then I can't really say that I regret that vote. I think it wound up being a case of pick your extremely lethal poison.

I actually think the only sensible candidate on the right is Huntsman. He's NOT perfect, but I would vote for him. Romney is relatively harmless to both sides core agendas, but the same thing that makes him harmless I think also means that he won't be very effective either. He reminds me of a laboratory created candidate and I think he's probably a decent guy, but not President material.

Newt is just a blubbery tub of misdirected fury and his anger seems to centered around the fact that he was born a century too late. His track record in his personal life calls his character and stability into question as well. He's clearly very smart, but he wants to turn the clock back on America to a time when America was still looking for it's way and not a world power.

The rest are also-rans. And Donald Trump? In a room full of jokes he'll be the punchline.

On that we agree Anvil.  At the present, my vote will either go for Paul or Hunstman.  But what I can't figure out is why Hunstman is dead last in the polls.  He's not even on tonight's debate.

That's the funny thing about Ron Paul. I like the MAN very much. The candidate? Well he's too radical for me. Some of his ideas are just not realistic in a world with 6 billion people. Too ideological. So I can't see voting for him (though I think we could still do worse).

Gingrich on the other hand I can't stomach. I get the sense from Ron Paul that his ideas are what they are because he thinks that's the way it should be, not out of a grudge but just that this is the way the world should work. It's not out of spite or hate.

But Gingrich? He just impresses me as a man who holds a grudge and wants to make people suffer for slights, real or perceived. He's also legitimately been taken out of work for corruption. I would like ten minutes on a podium with him, not as a candidate running against (another candidate can't just go into full-on attack mode. I can) him but just to outline just WHY he is such a lout of a human being.
