1997 Standard with bullet lights  (20W) for turn signals.

When I push the switch, to left or to the right,  the light blinks only once.

Any insights?

If they've been working for awhile, I'd try cleaning the turn switch. Open the switch housing. Spray contact cleaner to remove the old grease. Relube with dielectric grease.
