I just purchased a `99 Valk & it seems that the rear turn signals won't work at all.. funny.. license light works fine.. bulbs are ok.. othere than that don't know where to start... Thanks for any help!

Did you check the fuses? The fuse information below I copied from another thread.
It states the Turn, Stop, Horn are on the same fuse. Check the horn and brake light if they don't work it could be the fuse for that circuit.

Fuse arrangement for 2000 std/Tourer (I haven't looked to see which models/years this might not apply to):
IG1:  Fuse B (top fuse) - Turn, Stop, Horn
        Fuse D (5th from top) - Starter, Ignition

IG2:  Fuse A (6th from top) - Acc. Term.
        Fuse C (3rd from top) - Headlight
        Fuse F (2nd from top) - Taillight, Meters

Take a look at the plugs for the rear fender harness...they are under the right sidecover...possibly unplugged.

If they are okay look at the wiring running up the underside of the fender and make sure it is not damaged.

Next, there is a plug between the rear fender segment and the rest of the fender (you have to remove the rear fender segment to access).

Problem solved!  Grin Just the right side bulb that was burned out.. I guess neither will work if that's the case.. If only other complications of life were that easy to solve..  Roll Eyes Thanks guys!
