I know there are several LCP owners here from previous posts.
The Laserlyte side mounted laser was $129.00. Went on sale for $99.00. Now $92.00  with no shipping and no sales tax Shocked I didn't like the Crimson Trace for several reasons.
This is not as bright, but keep in mind it's an up close and personal defense weapon, not a 25yd target pistol.

I'm starting to rethink the need for a laser on a weapon designed for maybe 6/7 yards. But I looked real close at the LCP380 before buying the bodyguard.

Saw the Laserlyte about a week  ago on sale to Club members at the Sportsmans Guide for 89.95 and liked the way it looked.

I have the LCP and considered a laser briefly ...but really...it's an up close and personal mouse gun. Finally decided that a laser would fall more into the "cool" category than anything else. But, to each his own....it would be cool though  coolsmiley

Yes, it's cool and cheap enough that who cares if you decided you don't like it? My eyes are so bad that if I needed a weapon without my glasses I'd be dead. Even with my glasses now, when target is in sight I can't see the gun. when guns front sight is in sight, I can't see the target. If I lift my head to use my readers, I can see the gun and front sight, but not my target.
My hope is that this will aid me in target/sight alignment with my bad eyes.  Undecided

The laserlyte is continuous on until you push the activation button a second time.  I like the CT "momentary" feature and instinctive grip actuation on the CT a little better, but only my opinion.  Practice with either type should make it second nature, which is very important.

One feature of the laserlyte which I find puzzling is the pulse mode actuation....you have to press and hold the activation button for 5 seconds to enter the mode.  WTF?

Looks like a decent product for the money, makes the profile a bit wider for CCW, and isn't as bright as the CT.

Good luck with it.  They are a stand up company if you have any problems.

I'm happy w/my CT, it's well made and actually helps me grip it better than without it on. I like the way I can keep the laser from being on just by keeping the finger gripping on it loose, but the minute you tighten your grip to fire it's on without my conciously doing anything.

FWIW, this is the first target I shot after putting the CT on my LCP, rapid fire on a rotating target at 15 feet. The .45 were from my 4516-1 S&W open sights. the LCP is DA only, S&W is DA first shot (pulled it left  Embarrassed ) and SA after.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Crimson Trace has a $30 rebate on many of their lasers til Christmas.....Enter code 30LSR112 at checkout.  Like MarKT, I took advantage of the $50 rebate a few months ago and am very happy with their product.  Your opinion, results, thoughts etc may differ from mine.....
