I wonder what all those NK people, starving and barely scraping by, are really thinking as they do the official bawling in public. Is the pretend-communist bee-hive mentality so pounded in that they think family succesion is OK? I find this so contradictory to the supposed collectivity as basis for their system. Don't they? Indoctrination 101.  uglystupid2
I feel for them, but they themselves need to do an "Asian Spring".

He was just Kim Jong Ill, but he took a turn for the worse and is now Kim Jong Dead...

(Sorry, had to do it.)

It would be interesting to somehow candidly talk to some of the people there and see how much of the BS they swallow, but keep in mind, they're fed a steady stream of propaganda almost from birth. The official biography has such whoppers as he shot 11 hole in ones the very first time he played golf. The people have been raised and taught to think of him as more of a living god instead of as a political leader. And if you can get people to believe someone is a living god, it's not a huge lead to get them to believe that the living god's kid is also a great leader...

I'm sure the boy is just as corrupt and a-moral, but I don't think he's got the experience or drive his old man did. I figure one of daddy's good General "friends" will slit his throat is the next year or so.

It's very ironic, almost a year ago a video game came out called Homefront that depicted the death of Kim Jong II's death and his sons rise to power. Although its very fictional, still made for an interesting series of events.

Hmmm... The grieving seems legit to me!
