Official Top Speed??  No...don't have a coupon to prove how fast I was going but... 2funny

I did have the opportunity to open her up on the west side of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming.  I don't remember the road in particular...but it was just after you came down out of the mountains.  I had a passenger on the bike that day, and I rolled the throttle up to full.  I topped out (chickened out) at an indicated 140mph.  I think the GPS was telling me about 125-130.  Can't really remember now.  The bike felt like it had more and I had more road...I just got one of those mind blurring thoughts and decided to back it back down to a more reasonable rate of speed.  It was a BLAST and the bike was extremely stable at that speed.

The bike...Stock 99 IS with piggies cut...

No paperwork or G P S to support this but 135 M P H indicated on my I/S just me and on the D/S i be running. No flaming death. But like JoeValkIS said-felt there was some left just decided to ease out of it. To me at least this Valkyrie felt rock solid at that speed and i'd do it and have done it on a couple of occasions. Yes-well aware of the consequences if caught or a mechanical issue at that speed. Won't be talking to anybody on this earth ever again. RIDE SAFE.

I've had my IS to an indicated 130. The GPS said 124. Had some left to go, but running out of road. Close enough for me cooldude

I think a Cruiser is what it is called.

Not a land speed record holder.

Cruiser of the Decade.
