The Annual Blessing of the Bikes is coming up on Jan. 1 out at the Javelina Harley Dealer out toward Boerne on I-10 Sunday morning ..... A bunch of us went last year and had a great time seeing old friends and making new friends and afterwards going for lunch .... Its put on by the CMA group and they usually have plenty hot coffee , pastries , cookies , chili and tamales until their out .... its a good excuse to just get together and visit and look forward to a safe New Year's riding season ... The CMA are a great bunch of folks that sponsor this , trust me they don't go around trying to convert anybody , its just a good reason just to get together ..... So think about it for New Years Day Morning ..... I hope it NICE-N-COOL AND DRY that morning ..... Thanks the Geezer

Pretty sure River, Saint, and I will be available to make the ride over to Boerne. Whether we'll feel like it is another matter entirely . Aw... who am I kiddin'? Too old to party like I used to. These days, my New Years Eve celebrating is pretty much limited to waiting until the appropriate moment, then walking outside the house to deliver my late mother's traditional greeting in a loud (if slightly inebriated) voice: "Happy New Year, ya rotten world!"

Looks like we are all meeting in Bergheim! A few riders from the South Austin Riders Group (SARG) want to meet us there as well. Good group of folks who enjoy going places. Apparently, I'm the reason they decided to make the ride -- someone must have overheard me talking about the event, so somehow I'm responsible for them making the ride! The weather should be very nice! Clear with a high near 60! Kick stands up from Bergheim no later the 9:45 AM for the final stint to Javalina Harley. See y'all there!
