After 19 days in the CCU the hospital decided this morning that dad is moving to a rehab place

So I rushed over to the hospital in Nyack from Court in the south bronx and took mom home to get his clothes and back to the hospital then back to the office where I have a closing on a house taking place in a few minutes

I'll be driving back up after work   Good thing I didnt take the bike today as I could not have gotten mom back to the hospital by the time the transfer was to take place. Too cold for mom on the bike

We are trying to get him an aide for the weekend which is tough as it is Christmas weekend.  Mom is a great advocate but she is older than solo1 and needs her rest too.

Dad says his pain is down to a constant 7 (with the pain patches) unless they move him in which case its 10. His brain is workin fine he loves the jokes thanks kiwi and you others,  another 40 days of IV antibiotics and the staph and pneumonia should be gone if he can keep from any new issues.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and good wishes.  I still keep y'all in our prayers as well especially those who are going thru stuff and you know who you are.

From our home in Ossining I hope all our VRCC family and friends receive the gift of good health and friendship.

That's Great News Oss.  Also, would have been pretty hard to carry clothes AND Mom back to hospital even with the luggage capacity of the Valk.

Prayers on the way from TEXAS brother Oss.

Good news to hear Bro.   Make time for him everyday, if at all possible.

We do enjoy our chillins a stoppin in if it is only to say HI & BYE.

Happy  safe Holiday's to all your family.

Oss,

I'm glad Pops is doing better.  I think people that can keep their sense of humor under adverse circumstances always do better than the sourpusses.  Tell Pop to hang in there, we are all pulling/praying for him.

I hope your family is able to enjoy the holidays with all that is going on.
