I have a question after watching the vids and was wondering how the rest of ya'll say the name of our machines. In the first vid, the man said it was a
VAL kyrie, as in Val Kimer. The second guy said it as
VOL kyrie, like in the Tennessee VOLS.  Personally, I like the VOL KYRIE.

VAL is how I say it....but usually I say nothing and just turn the throttle to let HER do the talking. More like singing actually....SWEET VALKYRIE Music   Wink

I once had a parts guy at a dealer tell me that "it's pronounced VOL-kyrie". I asked him if he owned one. When he said he did not I told him that I did and I'd call it whatever the hell I wanted. Motorcycle dealership parts people are the lowest scum on the face of the earth anyway.

And really, if you want to get technical he's right but the V is also a soft V, almost like a W.

I apologize for the intrusion on your post, Joe.  That's the first thing I thought of when I got up this morning, so I promptly removed it. Sorry for that, wrote without realizing.
Those are great short vids you put on here, never seen 'em before.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger there Tonto.  I have lusted after her for many years, just had a kid in school and competitive sports and had no time to ride.
I remember that slide commercial and my buddy Dave has a poster with that ad pic on it!

Congrats on ur fat girl.

The first thing I thought when I saw the slide and this is an Unbiased Opinion.

As when I saw it, I was an avid fisherman. Stripers to be on point.

If you have never caught a Striper or Striped Bass you need to give it a whirl.

Pulls like a Freight Train till you get her in the net. Lucky 13 and Smokin Joe have both caught 50 plus pound land locked Striped Bass.

They still have their boats and still Lucky 13 fishes regularly.

But I thought to myself and said to my wife.

Who would buy that thing, it is neither a Gold Wing nor a Harley.

Well I guess I was right, They did not last long, but they are power houses and have a sweet tone to them when wicked.

Wrong Marketing stategy and lack of stick to it tiveness by Honda killed the best thing they ever built,

beside the 750 CB Honda.
