Few questions if y'all could help me out... I have zero experience with these so bear with me if my questions seem...dumb  crazy2

I don't see a PTT button for the passenger. Read a post that says the mics are always on, but if music is coming through the headsets do I need to use the PTT to interrupt? What about wind noise...? (I really hope this is the case... My wife has a habit of singing along with the radio, and I'm afraid I might have to leave her at the first fill-up if I can hear her over the music... 2funny) If so, is there something that plugs in-line with the passenger helmet, or is there a plug already on the bike that I'm not aware of?

Are there any in-line plugs/adapters that would allow my wife the ability user her phone to listen to her own music and make phone calls without interrupting what's coming in to my helmet, but would still allow helmet to helmet communication? If using an adapter like this, would we still be able to listen to the radio or music from my phone via the AUX jack, but would allow her to switch to her phone for calls while maintaining helmet to helmet? Wouldn't be a big deal for her to unplug from the bike and plug in to her phone when necessary, but I'd like to be able to keep helmet to helmet at all times if I can.

Hope this all makes sense.

I'm sure I'll have other questions later, but these are what I can think of at the moment.

Gracias

I don't have too much experience with the intercom, but I think I can answer part of your question. There is no push to talk button for the intercom. It is voice activated. I reused the mics from my old 3/4 helmets in full face helmets and had to remove the wind socks so they would fit. Got some wind noise so had to add some thin material over them to stop that. There a volume level you can set if you (from the manual)... Push the V-MODE button until the headset indicator appears in the display then push the volume lever up or down to adjust the volume.    It automatically interrupts the music or is simultaneous. Not sure which.

As far as being able to do the other things separately from the intercom maybe if she had a helmet that was bluetooth ready, you could have another set of speakers in there dedicated just to the bluetooth and have a switch in the cable from the bike so she could turn off her end of the intercom while on the phone?

Not voice activated.  Just always on.  The PTT switch for passenger is ONLY if the passenger wants to transmit on the CB.
