Beautiful bird .....Dollywood  in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is home to Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, a 30000-square-foot aviary that houses the country's largest presentation of non-releasable bald eagles.

I live about 30 minutes for Land Between the Lakes in Western Kentucky and have on occasion seen the American Bald Eagle in the wild catching fish in some of the bays. Quite a sight.

I live about 30 minutes for Land Between the Lakes in Western Kentucky and have on occasion seen the American Bald Eagle in the wild catching fish in some of the bays. Quite a sight.

While ice fishing in northern Wisconsin I would have to hide my catch under the 4 wheeler. Those SOBs would  sneak up behind me and steal my fish! They are thick up there. The kids would throw fish on the ice to draw them in close. Kinda like feeding the pigeons.

I was riding back from Charleston on the Combahee river road, and passed a
Bald Eagle hanging out with some vultures on the side of the road... it was weird to
be that close to them and for two so-different-kinds of birds to be together...

I took this picture on the river road, wouldn't want to be in the other lane at night!
