I remember that one Al,it was a bad one,and that was when they were stock car without all the saftey stuff they have today.

How Hard is Hard?

Let me tell you about a little incident earlier this month when my head hit a glass table top.
There were no safety harnesses, seat belts, roll cages, or even a helmet.
I survived,...it wasn't pretty, but I survived!

Bobby Allison's Crash is the one that put restrictor plates on the cars at Talladega and Daytona.

Flagman does not even flinch, in getting the yellow flag out.

This is the worst crash that I have ever seen, I was sitting on the front stretch that day and I couldn't believe that Bodine survuved:

This crash doesn't look nearly as bad, but the driver didn't survive.  I wasn't there but I know the guys that were taking care of the driver.  Some of them have been working races at Martinsville for over 30 years and they say that it's the worse crash that they have ever seen there:
