Many of you "ole time Valkers" know Richard. One of those really low number Valk guys, something like 44 on the first VRCC board if I member right? Lives just outside of Troupe and is part of the Motor Trike family. A Honda mc mechanic before that. He has got to be on something like his third Valk. All that is the good news!

Get him to tell you the story, but it had to do with putting his foot down on uneven ground and rolling his ankle as he came to a stop on his bike. Then walking/working on the injury for a little over a YEAR didn't do much for the healing process. Then, I guess he remembered chicks dig scars cause this is the photo I got from him today. Do Not Scroll if you have a light stomach.

I guess this is what they call reconstructive surgery? Looks to me like Frankenstein got off easy. With another four weeks of down time, he might even have time to figure out the new forum software and post a note or two. In the mean time, you can bet he is lurking some. Heal up right, Richard!

Can you name Richard's silversmith? ~Jeff

Sounds like Richard and I have something in common......avoid doctors as long as you can!

Hope you have a speedy recovery!
