I picked up an OEM windshield today off of craigslist. When I first talked to him over the phone he mentioned he found some parts in some plastic bags out in the garage that might be the mounting hardware. Well, it turns out it was the OEM mounting hardware and he threw that in with the windshield .... no extra cost .... got the whole works for $75

That's a fantastic price.

I also have the OEM windshield and it's still in perfect shape. IMO, none of the other after-market replacements look as good as the OEM.

Great Find!!  cooldude

I kinda felt guilty when I drove away .... felt like I stole something ....  Roll Eyes

I should add it is not pristine .... the plastic has a couple small scratches and there is a small scratch on the front chrome cross piece but not real noticeable. Kinda goes with the other "little" scratches/scrapes on the rest of my bike. I call them .. "Battle Scars"

He replaced the whole works because of the scratches caused by the bike falling over in the garage.

Anyway, for $75 I think I can live with that. The mounting hardware is brand new still in the plastic.
