Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one around here that rides int he cold weather.

Any other Valkyrie Owners from the area?  I live in Cross Junction, VA and I would like to get with others around here to ride.  I want to go riding Sunday to Baltimore (a friend is hosting a Comedy Show) but no one wants to "ride in the cold".... PUSSIES!!!  tickedoff

pBrain, I live over by Fort Belvoir VA (22309)  and I ride all Winter (snow ice excluded).  There are precious few Valks around here.  Sunday I am booked for a local SCRC New Years Day ride (and you'd be welcome).  Living in traffic-urban-mayhem, I would generally never intentionally ride to any city like Baltimore, but I am always looking for someone to ride with (in the country). 

And I'm retired, so any day is good.

Mapping says we are just shy of 100 mi and 2 hours apart.  I see your email is hidden, so Ill send you a message on this Forum with my email and home phone so we can hook up some time.

I'm not big on the idea of riding to Baltimore either.

I do ride all year as long as it isn't bitter cold.

Anytime that you want to hit the mountains give me a shout.

I hate the city also... being from NYC, I moved out here to get away from all that...

The bar is actually Hightops in Timonium and I figured I'd take all the scenic roads up there.....

His show is on Sundays and normally I work Mondays but since this Monday is a day off, I figured i'd try and make at least one show.

Good to know there's at least 3 of us around..   uglystupid2

Actually there are several of us "NUTS" hanging around.



We are planning a spring group ride, no details yet but when they are they'll be posted here.

And we definately plan on doing another "Meet in the Middle ride"  on Labor Day Weekend 2012.

I'm just outside of Charlottesville. I'm also not keen on a ride into Baltimore but I do mainly ride in the colder weather! I ,,,, "HATE", the heat! lol.
