Hey Everyone & HAPPY NEW YEAR! Today is the firs day in the month of December thaI I was able to ride the Valk. The snow & ICE behind my house, where my garage is, has been covered with ice & there is no sun shine back there. The last few days have been warm so it has finally melted enough so I can get the sickle out of my driveway & on to the street. The streets have been nice for a week or so but not my driveway & the street behind my house. The plows don't go there. It is a very windy day but who cares. I usually ride all year 'round as long as I can get the sickle out & on to the roads. I was wondering if I would be able to ride at all this December. This last week of December was very warm in the daytime in the 40's & 50's. Down in the teens at night tho. Feels good to ride again.

Thanks Y'all. Just came back from the barber shop riding the Valk. Winds in high gusts. Was blowing me aboot.  Over in Frisco, Colorado I hear gusts are up as high as 125 MPH. Turning over Semis. Dang. My son drives a Semi & is on the way here now. Not sure which was he is coming from tho. Gotta E-Mail him. The reason I put the studed ones on is the chrome one on the right side had a broken tab & I had it clear taped on. Bought a new pair (VERY Expensive) & they were black. Saw an add for the leather studed ones (not expensive at all) & put them on the black covers instead of getting them chromed. Turned out pretty good. Still have the chromed ones.

The Valkyrie is staying in the garage today, local Weather for Denver:

"For the Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins areas - sustained wind up to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph are likely through the early evening on Saturday.

Vehicles on Interstate 25 and Interstate 76 will be most affected by these west-northwesterly gusts."

Stay safe and Happy New Year!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Got an E-Mail from someone wanting to know where I got the studded side covers. On this site go to Honda Valkyrie Vendors then to the bottom of the page to Click Here for VRCC Vendor Index then to bottom of that page then to Other Valkyrie Vendors then to Honda Direct Line then the big red button that says Direct Line Parts then under HONDA click Valkyrie then where is says shop by brand then to Boss Bags at the bottom of the page. There ya have it. Hope that works for ya.

I have only had this Valk for two years... The windsheild was already on it. There are no markings showing manufacturer. Maybe someone else has the same one & will know if they see it.

Road the Valk to work this morning...on the road at 3:30 AM. A whopping 17 Degrees. Felt really good. Supposed to be 52 degrees when I get off work. Keep it out of the ditches.

Well, you sure don't have to think about the bugs at all at those temps .... bet you can't wait for the return trip home with the warmer temps.

I was riding up until a week ago .... now I'm snowed in. Oh well, time to get out the winter toys  Wink
