I'm on call, gonna miss the kiss-my-60-degree-awesome-day ride tomorrow,
but we have mountains right here in Oconee County, and my mother-in-law
got me a new goPro camera for Christmas... I've had this idea to mount it
to my mirror...

My buddy Henry came over and we headed out to find lunch... Henry used to have
a bumble-bee Valkyrie, now he has an ST1100...
Here's Unity Church Road...

I always expect this guy to be coming out the driveway when I go by, no luck
yet...

Unity Church Road hits 76, and it's off to the mountains

There's a side road you can hit to get an awesome vista right before you
get to the Chatuga River... to the left is probably Georgia mountains, to the right,
North Carolina...

Over the Chatuga River... queue the banjer music...

OK... we're over the hill, in Clayton Georgia... time to eat!

... but not at McDonalds... nope... a couple of blocks off the main drag... near
the Supply Mart...

... in a little strip mall, next to the Cash 4 Gold...

LaJerezana!
I'm not sure what that stuff they sell us in the Americanized Mexican
Restaurants is... revenge for the 1848 war maybe...

... but the actual
Mexican food that Mexicans eat, the food at LaJerezana anyhow, is
awesome... Here's the whole kitchen... I swear she was smiling, I
must have hit the button too soon...

My vote: Valkyrie envy!

We came back to South Carolina on War Woman Road, and stopped at the
Stumphouse Tunnel and Isaqueena Falls, first
time ever for me, even though I live right here...
Carolyn made a batch of tie dyes a couple of weeks ago, these pictures were
still on the camera...
