Bob Seger - Roll Me Away
Took a look down a westbound road, right away I made my choice Headed out to my big two-wheeler, I was tired of my own voice Took a bead on the northern plains and just rolled that power on
Twelve hours out of Mackinaw City stopped in a bar to have a brew Met a girl and we had a few drinks and I told her what I'd decided to do She looked out the window a long long moment then she looked into my eyes She didn't have to say a thing, I knew what she was thinkin'
Roll, roll me away, won't you roll me away tonight I too am lost, I feel double-crossed and I'm sick of what's wrong and what's right We never even said a word, we just walked out and got on that bike And we rolled And we rolled clean out of sight
We rolled across the high plains Deep into the mountains Felt so good to me Finally feelin' free
Somewhere along a high road The air began to turn cold She said she missed her home I headed on alone
Stood alone on a mountain top, starin' out at the Great Divide I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' and my soul began to rise And pretty soon My heart was singin'
Roll, roll me away, I'm gonna roll me away tonight Gotta keep rollin, gotta keep ridin', keep searchin' till I find what's right And as the sunset faded I spoke to the faintest first starlight And I said next time Next time We'll get it right

My fav is Either Highway to Hell, Hells bells, or Are You Ready, by AC/DC. But Big jet airliner gets the radio cranked in the truck. Fat Bottom girls is always a good one to. I perfer biker artists instead of songs. My fav real biker artist is Charlie Brechtal Band. Always plays at the Chip. Met him and gave us some cd's. They kick ass. Fried Brothers is always good. If you can ever find 'Harley in the Rain' by Ross and Rotten thats a good one, but not good to listen around kids! I was at a stop light last weekend and had some Kid Rock blaring on my scoot and I believe the suv next to me was yelling at me to turn it off or some such stuff. I heard a faint voice and when she drove away she had he head out the window looking back at me. This of coarse after Rock drop the F bomb. ???

Geez, too many good classics out there to name just one. I haven't seen any on this list I didn't like (cept for some by KR, just don't like being assaulted by profanity).
Okay, one I definitely like to crank is "Love Stinks" - good rock and twisted humor.

I have the Ipod loaded up with a lot of different playlists... What I listen to depends on my mood. Puddle of Mudd, Disturbed, Theory of a Deadman, Nickelback, Staind, lots of 80's hair bands, and quite a bit of country too
This is one of my favorites
Toby Keith - Time for me to Ride
Ain't got no tricks left up my sleeve Ain't got no reason to believe Yeah I been lookin' for a sign Love shouldn't be so hard to find I've been sleepin' on your couch Just been layin' here alone I been doin' without oh you've been doin' me wrong Nothing left here to decide Think it's time for me to ride
Put my back out on the highway Feel that wind all in my face Breathe some air that tastes like freedom Yeah let that be my saving grace Somebody loved, somebody lied I believe it's time for me to ride
Should've known right from the start I couldn't tame your faithless heart I could see the writing on the wall Never been the kind to crawl Girl you're never satisfied I believe it's time for me to ride
Put my back out on the highway Feel that wind all in my face Breathe some air that tastes like freedom Yeah let that be my saving grace Somebody loved, somebody lied I believe it's time for me to ride

Queued up and playing as I'm rolling outta my neighborhood on a multiday trip:
And a little off the beaten trail, but I'm SO surprised I haven't gotten a ticket... or worse... one of the times this song rolls around on the play list:

Roll Me Away by Bob Segar is my favorite but I also like this by the Doobie Brothers. Was in a crazy movie with Brian Bosworth called "Stone Cold", a terrible plot but I still watched it. Doobie Brothers - Dangerous (live)
