Here are four pics of the install.

I had the faring and the tank painted at the same time.  I have since installed the tank.  The belly tank and electric fuel pump work great.  The bike is dirty and needs a good cleaning and polish.  I used Memphis Shades clamps to attach the fairing.  They come in packs of two.  Two packs cost around $50.00.  I had to enlarge the opening so that my stock headlight would fit.  I also had to make a bracket to move the headlight forward and down a little.  I ran a large 12 guage wire to a buss I located inside the faring to attach accessories such as the running lights etc.  I used a relay for any and all accessories along with fuses.

now check pinwall and get the little indicator assy that mounts above the radio (2003 and before?) i used one off a 2001, it is lightbulbs rather than digital, be sure to keep both wires for the neutral light together all other grounds can be tied together. the two wires going to the turn indicator are the pos wires for each turn signal so just hook them up to the correct side. and hook up the bright bulb and your in business. you will not be using the bulb for the oil press , but it' makes a great spare bulb.
next get a lightbar for an fl series harley and cut the cross bar out( will not clear the valkyrie headlight) and it will mount right up. i used harley spots and turns.

Tank,
I took the indicator lights out of the headlight bucket, lengthened the wires, drilled holes in the faring across the top and installed them in the faring.  They work great and are easy to see.  I'm still trying to decide whether or not to install a radio.  Maybe later.
Thanks!

This may be a silly observation but when that seller says, "Item condition: For parts or not working", I take it he's just being über-honest in that with the wiring harness cut and no power applied, the item does not, in fact, work.

But back on topic... wow Dubs, that looks awesome!

Thanks Bob!  I thoroughly enjoy doing mods to my bike; almost as much as riding it.  I still have to get a light bar for the front to finish it out and some other odds and ends.  It needs cleaning terribly but too cold to wash but not to ride!

T-bird, I might have to take it to Joe's so he can show me how to clean a motorcycle!  I'm sure we will be riding together in the near future! Grin

I just bought a Harley light bar for the front.  Tha will complete the front.  Now I just have to finish the guages, radio etc. to complete this project.
