Am about to remove the rear half of the rear fender, looks easy but I thought I would check to see if any one out there could give me a couple pointers.

I take mine off to change the tire. There's the two bolts (one on each side) and
the screw in the middle.

You don't want to just let it drop.

There's an electrical connection that snaps apart that you'll see when the
three fasteners are out.

I was doing the nut cage mod today in prep for the dark side tire I am going to install next week, ya it was tight but I finally got it.

Is it possible for a stock size tire and shocks to have enough travel to allow the tire to hit the connector?

There's that little "box" up in there that's supposed to protect it from stuff...

Mine was F up from the previous owner not securing it in the box. I went down to NAPA and picked up a 7 pin trailer connector that had about 2 ft of wires on each side. I rewired, soldered, shrink wrapped, and wire wrapped the whole thing. Plus the new connector fit right in the factory box. No problems a year later.
