You will pick up a little midrange, nothing dramatic, the I/S module has a little more agressive timing curve.

I'd go for a dyna 3000.  Takes preminum fuel but any setting above 2 you will feel.  The Dyna can be purchased for under $200.  I have ran setting 3 on regular fuel, has more power but mpg decreased a tad most likely because of the right hand.  Setting 7 will put a smile on your face on a 2nd gear roll on or any other gear for that matter.  This setting also gets about 4 mpg over stock.

Thanks guys for your replies. After sleeping on it i took her out this morning. did 25 miles last night after my first post and felt something was not right. The bike ran fine but just not up to par for what i thought the new ICM should have the bike preform at. This morning before i left i tightend up all the clamps going from the carbs to the intakes found all to be loose. That was the problem. Did the same 25 miles and the bike ran great, big differance from the night before. Got back put the old ICM in and went riding and could tell the differance at low RPM. Goes to show you to look at the small stuff first.

If you can find one you should put a 4 degree wheel and IS carb springs in also. Really helps the standard. I did and won't go back.

The Dragon is at the dealers' shop for repair: I/S tank & gauge, windhield, tacho+odo and I/S ICM. Did carbs springs change before. Acrtualy it runs with a 6deg TW. Anything else to care about?

For your best BANG FOR THE BUCK, do the simple ECT Mod for about $4.00 in parts then change to I/S carburator springs for about $18 - $20.

I guarantee that those to simple and cheap modifications will put a smile on your face!

Hey Duey , there is a guy on the classifieds selling the 4 degree trigger wheel for $ 40 I think .... if I remember right that 4 deg wheel is used on the Goldwings  and the 6 deg is used on the valks only ... I am thinking about switching from the 6 deg to the 4 deg and switch over to the  I/S ICM from what I have read this is the good combo for good strong midrange and on ......
