The most outrageous bike I've ever seen. I don't need it but it makes me drool.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOO much chrome for me to ride.
You'd have to wear some super doper dark shades to keep the reflection off of the tank.

Holy moly,,,looks like that one is built as window dressing. Can't imagine riding it anywhere and then having to spend 8 hrs making her pretty again.

Ebay says the bike is located in Poland and the seller will not ship overseas.
Well then, I'll have to wait till the next time I just happen to be in Poland to check on it.

Crazy! I've always thought that Rune was unbelievably cool! Probably couldn't ride it on a sunny day with blinding yourself and everyone else, but very cool. The Corbin bags don't do much for it except make a look heavy and clumsy, but, being a Rune owner myself, I know what it's like if you want to carry something when you don't have anyplace to put anything, If it won't fit in your pocket, forget about taking it with you on the Rune!

However, I think I'll wait on a Rune in my price range that would require less polishing than that Chrome one. A Rune would be a nice stable mate for my tourer.

I think Runes are beautiful but not a bike for me. I think they are more of a motorcycle that you just ride around on the streets, not really an open road machine. I get my kicks with wind on my face, not by weaving in and out of city traffic.
I did see the Run yesterday on Ebay and I must say it does look good.

I'd also have to have: Helmet Jacket Pants - there has to be a little contrast... Boots If you prefer half-helmet I'd ride it!

Good grief, a bit overdone I'd say. But, if you have the cash to waste on chroming!!!! I've ridden one a couple times and don't really care for it, the front end was wierd to me but guess I'd get used to it. The first thing I'd do with any Rune if I had one would be get rid of those pipes. They're the ugliest monstrosity I've ever seen on a bike. Aside from that, might be kinda fun to have one as another project to make it my own style of ride. Either that or a wrecked 1800 Wing.

At $31,000 it seems like a bargin compared to some of the $40-50k choppers that show up at bike nite.
I find myself starring at them trying to figure just what about them costs so much.

Every year at the annual Rune Rally in Erwin TN we have Runes RIDE IN.....from Canada, TX, NJ, CA, WA, OR, MI, MO, NH, NY, MD, etc, etc. A couple of years ago....not only did many ride in from all these distant states.....but they rode in, and the NEXT DAY...did an Ironbutt as a group...going 1000 miles circling the state of TN in under 24 hours. then did the group rides for the rally, then turned around and RODE BACK...to those distant locations. ALL DURING/FOR A WEEKEND RALLY...... For many on the Rune board, the Rune is their ONLY bike...and they ride it like a Gold Wing....... Since they didn't make a tourer option on the Rune I don't see it as a long distance or every-day ride for me. However, it should be a dependable machine...it's a Honda.

Great Bike for a Chromo-Sexual.
Can't hide money.
But why did it not have chrome discs on the brakes?

However, it should be a dependable machine...it's a Honda. folks change the seat...add hiway pegs....even some Corbin bags. They even put two up seat and passenger pegs. Mind you, i've NOT done any of that to mine...and i still have the Valk(s) for riding longer distance. But I'm just sayin' some have fixed their Runes up to be suitable for long haul ridin'... We do have a few nearing 100k miles...and one over 100k miles. BUT NO ONE LIKE DDT...with 440k+ miles I can remember the first year they made the rune. Honda had one on display for months at the Columbus Int'l airport. It always had a crowd of people around it. I honestly did not mean to make it sound like it could not be ridden long distances, it just looks more like a Blvd motorcycle. I have seen some with corbin bags and different seats too in the internet, I can remember seeing them on the roads when they first came out but its been years since I actually seen one. I do like them and I would not mind having one myself...

This rune is back on Ebay but now its listed in Alabama instead of Poland. I pulled up the original ebay auction and it says it sold for 31900.00 Its up to 10K in ebay now and the reserve is off. I do believe someone is getting scammed
