So...the Austone taxi tire isn't round like it the picture makes it to be. But it's mounted and as soon as my bearing come in (tomorrow, I hope) I'll put it on the bike and give it a try. I sure hope that I like it better than the 2 that I tried before.

I now have about 400 miles on the Austone and it handles much better than the 2 CTs that I tried before. The transition from flat to lean isn't nearly as abrupt and the bump steer is very slight. I think that I am going to like this tire a lot. I removed the other two that I tried within 1000 miles. One was a Proxes and the other I don't remember but it was a good tire...maybe a Yokohama. The Austone is working MUCH better for me.
