We didn't stay there - we were down the street at the Holiday Inn Express, but here's what it looks like.

Never stayed there but it is a nice place. Got a big patio out front and a balcony where you can over look main St. I think this is the place. I've only been to Cadillac Jacks to gamble and eat off a hangover.  Embarrassed They are about accross the street from each other. Alot to see in Deadwood. We actually thought about staying there one year. You can check out Saloon #10, where Wild Bill Hickock got shot. Kinda neat place. We hope to spend more time there this year. Plus your only a short ride to Spearfish Canyon. Between Deadwood and Lead there is a Napa and a Do-it-best hardware store if you need anything while your there. The Napa has great popcorn! Deadwood is where we go to get the bike washed. Usually no line and they have quite a few bikini bike washes.
A side note, in 02 it rain alot and there was a mudslide that rolled down main st. Wiped out a few hundred bikes they say. There were fires in the Hills and the rain caused the slides.
I say go for it. Maybe we'll see ya there!

Probably not this year.  Inzane is going to be our first bike trip after my wife's knee replacement so we weren't going to push it.
