help found out what that front brake scraping noise was. it was my caliper froze up one of the slideing pins is froze anybody have one to sell or have any great suggestions.its the front right side Sad thanks

Ya got to get it loose before you can do anything with it.

So spray the 7734 out of it with WD40, or any other skunk piss you can come up with.   Keep tapping on it lightly so as not to screw something up, I use a old piece of 2X4 for this purpose.  If you are patient, it will come loose......  Then when ya put it back together, use anti seize junk........

Had the same problem a while back, used an impact driver (use a gently touch).  One hit, it let go and the repair was completed.

     Had that on my 98 couple years back,I finnally got it  off,  but somehow managed to  warp the rotor.  If   yours is as stuburn as  mine  and  i could  do it again , think  id take  wheel off before any serious  banging.

thanks for all the help guys. got problem solved. pin was pretty froze up in the bracket that holds the caliper to the fork.was able to use my dremal tool with cutoff wheel and cut the pin.screw out what was left in caliper and then took the bracket to work with me and have one of the guys in the shop tap the other end of pin put slide hammer on it and out it came.took a little piece of scotch brite red pad to clean out the bracket like new again new parts are in today so went from thinking i was needing a new caliper to a 20.00 fix one new pin and 2 new boots should be on the road tonight Smiley oh and i will be useing anti-seeze on the pins on reassembly.and the really great thing is it was a all on bike repair did not have to break the seal on brake system cooldude
