In Myrtle Beach this article tries to insinuate that the town doesnt want any bikers to visit, but that the black bike week is the one they are trying to ban the most.  Not that the first bike week, (they call white HD riders) are all law abiding, but they seem to say there is a difference in how each week is viewed by the town.

I think more stuff is tore up by the sport bikers and that week is predominatly black.

BUT...read the article.....at the bottom, bikers blacks and whites are standing together to say "WE WONT STAND FOR THIS"  I think its great!!!

There are always gonna be bone heads that try to ruin things for everyone, its about time some of the good ones stand up and push the bad ones out, well I hope thats what happens

I have never been down there but I'd like to check it out before I die.

I did see a shirt I thought was funny but it is racist.

On the front it said "This week Bike Week" and on the back it said "Next Week Buck Wheat"  Grin

I remember they did the same thing in Danbury CT. At the Marcus Dairy. Sunday shoppers at the mall didnt like those pesky biker types utilizing all the parking spaces so they basically put an end to Super Sunday.

I personally hate crowds of large people, for the simple reason that there are idiots everywhere, interspersed amongst us normal people with common sense and manners.  It also seems that as the idiots come into close proximity with each other, the severity of idiocy increases.  Now I enjoy things like wet t-shirt contests and scantilly clad ladies, but I think there are appropriate places for both, maybe downtown main street isn't one of them.

I've never been to Sturgis or any of the big bike rallies, because I think they would be nothing but hassles and piss me off.  I would much rather be riding, than drinking in a parking lot full of Harleys.  But, to each his own.

Places that depend on tourism need to be careful who they offend/restrict, if they are willing to accept the decrease in revenue, that's up to them.  I don't think it is right to exclude certain groups, but I can understand why the residents who don't make any money off the tourists would not want to put up with the hassles.

If I'm gonna go to Myrtle Beach, it will be to sit on the beach all day and watch the ladies an drink blender drinks and beer all day.  I would only go to town if I didn't feel like grilling my meals.

The large rallies are fine if that's your thing, Just let me know when and where they are, I'll be heading in the opposite direction.

Don't know if that made sense, just my $.02.

What do you mean by "NO TOMFOOLERY"?
Isn't that a requirement for induction to the "Rogue Riders"?
