I'm interested in a 2000 Interstate that's sitting at Mason City Honda (Iowa). Anyone have a history with them? I'm wondering if there should be a Valk emblem on the tank? Pic doesn't show any obvious signs of repair but what pic would? Any opinions?

It originally had one held on by two sided tape.  A lot of folks peeled them off with no damage.

Interstate letters/emblem is missing off the bags, and I think the trunk, as well.

You're right!  I'll bet it's not really an Interstate.   Grin

Nah.... I wouldn't go that far now....  I think it appears as tho the PO removed all the emblems/letter markings.

So do you think I could use that as a way to get the price reduced? And are those emblems still in circulation? I think I'd prefer to brag to the world about what I'm riding. Avoids confusion with those other cruisers.  Wink

If the 2000 model still says "made in U.S.A" on the engine block that will prove it's not a Harley  Cool

Looks like they even took off the front fender ornament. Is it my screen or does the blue look like it has a custom marbling?

See. You see it too, don't you?

Be nice to get an in-person look at it.

Only thing.......The 2000 models didn't have the "USA" inscription.  Now, if that one does, we may still have a mystery going on here.
